Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 8 am–6 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Greenville is in South Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Greenville peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. The owner was incredibly kind, and the technician who worked on our car was also a sweetheart!! Unfortunately, our experience with JAMES was the complete opposite. He never told us the prices before the work was done, so we felt blindsided when we were charged $175 just to add Freon. The cost wasn’t explained beforehand, he dismissed us by saying, “Bro, just give us the money and go on your way. It’ll be $40.” He also told us there wasn’t an A/C leak and claimed the compressor was the problem without any diagnostic proof and said “because he said it was”. After visiting another shop, they found there was actually a leak, and two other shops didn’t believe the compressor was the issue. We were also told the tires were $45 each but weren’t informed they were used until we specifically asked. The owner and technician were great, but the lack of transparency and professionalism from James left us with a very disappointing experience.

I pulled in with a flat tire because your posted hours showed you were open, and I was just trying to get home. Before I could even walk in the door, I was told they were closed—even though the business hours said otherwise. The part that bothered me the most wasn’t even being turned away; it was the complete lack of empathy. A gentleman asked what was going on and seemed willing to at least hear me out, but the lady immediately interrupted him just to repeat, almost proudly, that they were closed. There was no concern for the fact that I had a flat tire, no apology for the confusing business hours, and no attempt to offer any advice or point me somewhere that could help. If you stop taking customers before your posted closing time, then update your hours. Advertising that you’re open while refusing to help anyone who arrives during those hours is misleading. Customer service is about more than just doing the work—it’s about treating people with respect. Unfortunately, I experienced none of that here. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had, and I won’t be back.

Bought a $50 tire here Saturday after 1pm, only went to work and on my way back home from work around 1am my tire splits open I hear this noise getting louder so I had to pull over on the side of a highway. I was left stranded on the side of a highway after 1am. I called my roadside assistance but due to the time of night they couldn’t find anyone nearby and I was left to try to get ahold of someone to help me. The shop is closed on Sunday so I took the tire to a shop where they told me the tire is dry rotted. The person who put my doughnut on said it looks like they put a rubber cap on it. I went to the shop today which is Monday to be told first that there was a nail in my tire which I’ve had nails plenty of times in my tire and it’s never caused it to bust all I had to do was keep putting air in it. Mind you the tire shop I took it to Sunday didn’t see a nail. Then I was told my rim was cracked and that’s what caused the tire to bust which if that’s the case why didn’t the tire they took off and switched out with that one bust and I had that previous tire for awhile. I told the worker the rim cracking had to come from me driving on the rim once the tire busted when I was trying

I would not recommend going here for services. I went two separate times the past two days to have the pressure in my tires checked before going to Atlanta. Both times I was greeted with sexist remarks about how I need to stop hitting curbs. I had a teenager back into me in a subway drive through a few years ago that I let go and have not bothered to get fixed because it’s only aesthetic. This is just the cherry on top, this type of rhetoric is pretty standard for auto shops and doesn’t get to me much. I explained to the technicians both times that my air compressor was broken and I needed the pressure checked. The first one on 03/26 walked around to all the tires and quickly said they were fine. I thought it was odd that they did not check the recommended PSI in the car door but okay. Next day before I head out I go back because I don’t have a great gut feeling about it. I explain the situation again. I explain that my air compressor is reading 41 on all of them and is likely inaccurate. He seems confused and says if I pay them they can reset my sensors. I explain that this is a 2010 Honda fit and I was using my portable air compressor. This car does not show PSI readings. I exp

⚠️ Legal Warning & Consumer Alert ⚠️ I purchased a set of tires from this shop approximately two months ago. These tires were sold with a 20,000-mile warranty. Despite this clear warranty, the tires developed serious defects within a very short time. When I returned to the shop to exercise my rights under the warranty, the owner not only refused to honor it, but also treated me in an unprofessional and dismissive manner. This is a direct violation of consumer protection principles and warranty obligations. A business that refuses to honor its written guarantee is engaging in deceptive and unlawful practices. I am now preparing to escalate this matter by filing a formal complaint with the appropriate consumer protection authorities and pursuing legal remedies if necessary. I strongly caution anyone considering this shop: do not trust them with your money or your safety. If you value professionalism, honesty, and compliance with the law, avoid this place at all costs. Documentation of my purchase and payment will be attached as evidence.
